Description
Cova Montenapoleone’s Darjeeling Loose Leaf Tea comes from the prized cultivations on the Himalayan slopes, known as the “Champagne of teas”. The leaves, hand-picked during the first spring bloom, offer a refined aromatic bouquet, with hints of musk, bergamot, and subtle floral notes.
Origin and processing
The Darjeeling plantations are located at about 2,000 meters altitude in the district that gives the tea its name. Cova Montenapoleone imports these leaves directly from India, ensuring a short and controlled supply chain. After harvesting, the leaves are left to wither in the sun, lightly rolled, and finally dried in temperature-controlled ovens.
