CEYLON O.P. LOOSE LEAF TEA PASTICCERIA COVA MONTENAPOLEONE

19.80

Description

The Ceylon O.P. loose leaf tea from Pasticceria Cova Montenapoleone originates from the finest cultivations in the Sri Lankan highlands, selected for their quality and ideal pedoclimatic conditions. Each leaf is hand-picked between 1,200 and 1,800 meters altitude, ensuring raw material of excellent standard. Thanks to the Orange Pekoe (O.P.) method, the whole leaves yield a bright red infusion and offer a smooth, round taste to the palate, with light malty notes and a persistent aroma that lingers long in the cup.

Pasticceria Cova Montenapoleone, a historic Milanese “Maison” founded in 1817 by Antonio Cova next to La Scala Theatre, has perfected the art of tea selection and packaging, respecting Italian artisanal tradition and modern innovation. Today, as part of the LVMH group, Cova is an institution in the international taste landscape, with boutiques in Milan, Paris, Hong Kong, and Monte Carlo.

The Ceylon O.P. loose leaf tea is designed for those seeking a moment of authentic pleasure: ideal for breakfast, it exudes freshness and vigor; perfect for afternoon tea, it pairs splendidly with biscuits, fruit tarts, and small sandwiches. Its ability to welcome a “cloud” of milk makes it versatile and suitable for various consumption habits. Recommended dosage: 2–3 g of tea per 200 ml of water at 90 °C, infusion for 3–5 minutes.
