ORIGIN AND HISTORY
The Tabarca sailors used Aggiadda as a preservation method during crossings between Tunisia, Liguria, and Southern Sardinia. Today, Bonverre produces this sauce following the original recipe by chef Carlo Biggio, born in Calasetta and an interpreter of the culinary culture of Sant’Antioco. The choice of glass and vacuum-sealing technique ensures a shelf life of up to 36 months without preservatives
