Description
Villa Manodori Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil is born from a careful selection of Taggiasca olives grown in Liguria, among the dry-stone walls and terraced landscapes overlooking the inland valleys. Here, up to 700 meters above sea level, olive trees thrive thanks to a unique microclimate: sea breezes rise from the coast and gently brush the trees even at higher elevations, giving the fruit its unmistakable aromatic notes.
Once harvested, the olives are processed in Emilia, within the artisanal production of Villa Manodori, the brand created and curated by chef Massimo Bottura. The result is an elegant, deep, and perfectly balanced extra virgin olive oil.
To the eye, it presents an intense and luminous golden hue. On the nose, it releases a refined bouquet, with recognizable notes of dried almond, ripe fruit, and fresh flowers. On the palate, it is smooth, light, and harmonious, with a slightly bitter finish that enhances its complexity.
Villa Manodori Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil is ideal for raw use. It elevates delicate dishes such as fish carpaccio, seasonal salads, grilled vegetables, and fresh cheeses. Just a drizzle on a slice of bread can turn an everyday gesture into an experience.
